After buying a Rover 75 Tourer in 2009, I searched for a local garage who were familiar with Rover vehicles after the garage I had been using told me that I needed a new cam belt..my rover was diesel and had a chain! Fortunately, in my search, I found Haskins which I have used ever since.They have always been extremely helpful and never ever did anything to my Rover that did not need doing, in fact, mine was a facelift model that required a bumper removal to change a headlight bulb but Haskins found that mine had the access panels under the wheel arch and only charged me for the replacement bulb.All of the staff at Haskins are friendly, take a pride in the work that they do and their pricing is very reasonable.Although I now have a Vauxhall, I would not even think of taking it to any other garage for servicing or repairs.
I was a bit dubious about visiting this garage after reading some of the reviews, but I required a service which not many garages offer any longer. All I can say is that they booked me in quickly, completed the work quickly and knew what they were talking about, plus I paid 25% less than the original quote from another garage. Funnily enough, the other garage had a 4.5 star rating on here, but let me down badly....
Find another garage! Most unhelpful garage i have ever encountered, service with a frown. I have been to them a few times over the last two years for various jobs ranging from a MOT to a full service. Their attitude is very couldn't care less whether they have my business or not. You'll not be surprised to learn that on every occasion I have taken my business elsewhere. After the last occasion this week I will no longer give them the option for my business. Sad really as I do like to support local businesses etc where I can.
CRAFTY CHARACTERS!Personally, I would not use this garage again. The price for repair escaled after my car was in their garage. The intial quote seemed ok, however, this increased by 22% for a straightforward job.
Poor. When a repair is made to a car by professionals, it is not much to expect the vehicle to be tested by the garage before it is returned to the customer This ensures no faults are left by the mechanic. This is not the case with Haskins. Try another garage, because there are cheaper and better garages.
