Had a great stay, evening meal was fantastic the breakfast is amazing, only downside there wasn't much milk in the room for a cuppa. Would definitely go back
Very spacious clean room, a little bit dark. Far away from the city centre and shops. No public transport from the train station. Tried to call room service and reception several times but nobody answered the phone.
Upon arrival I found the room to be boiling, upon turning the radiator down the room quickly became freezing. It turns out the window was opened and couldn't be closed as it had no handle.! The desk lamp didn't work, the light above the desk wasn't working and there was no Internet. There was also no room service menu. I went down to Reception who offered to move me, but did advise that they couldn't do much about the Internet as many of the rooms have poor signal. This is far from ideal when travelling with work.I moved into my new room and whilst the window did close, the desk lamp still didn't work and the Internet was still non existent. Its now 3 hours after arrival and having been up since 4.30 I have lost the will to go back to Reception.Safe to say I won't be returning, which is a shame as the staff are trying really hard.
Amazing experience. The service from the employees were amazing. They were all polite to me and my family and made us feel welcome. Only down fall was that I had share a bed with my big brother. Would definitely recommend going here.
Quality and service here has gone downhill over the past few years. Service at the bar is spectacularly slow, over the past few trips food service and quality has been very poor as well. Conference facilities usually have issues (cables not working, poorly aligned projectors etc) and the rooms are pretty basic. Not enough staff in any area means a long wait for anything. At best, 1.5 stars.
